Achillea millefolium ''Red Beauty''
Red Beauty Yarrow
Red Beauty Yarrow is renowned for its large clusters of bright red flowers. Each individual flower in the cluster also has a distinctive yellow eye. As is the case with all Yarrows, the flowers fade as they age; Red Beauty Yarrow fades from red to soft red. Planting in afternoon shade will slow the fading a bit. Adding to its good looks is the fern-like deep green foliage. Red Beauty Yarrow will rebloom with regular deadheading and is best used in the perennial border where it enjoys enriched soil and regular watering.

Homeowner Growning & Maintenance TipsRed Beauty Yarrow is adaptable to almost any soil with adequate drainage. Deadheading enhances appearance and encourages rebloom. Allow to dry between waterings. May be divided at any time to rejuvenate.
Stem rot, powdery mildew and rust are occasional disease problems. Strong summer rain storms with high winds can damage exposed plantings. If stems flop or become matted, they can be cut back.
