Hemerocallis ''Stella d'Oro''
Stella d'Oro Daylily
Stella d'Oro Daylily is a great choice for a variety of well-drained soils in full sun to part shade. Dwarf, everblooming variety with multitudes of dainty, canary-yellow flowers. By far one of the best daylilies available. The Stella D'Oro daylily has lightly ruffled petals and sepals curl back slightly to create a bell-like flower with a deep golden yellow throat. Each 2 3/4" bloom is displayed slightly above a neat, compact 18" mound of rich green foliage.
Recipient of Don Fisher Memorial Cup from the American Hemerocallis Society.

Homeowner Growning & Maintenance TipsDaylilies do well in a wide range of well-drained soils, but prefer a deep, fertile loam. Deadhead spent flowers daily for neatness and remove scapes when flowers have completed bloom. Daylilies should be divided to maintain vigor when the clumps become overcrowded.

Interesting NotesProvides color and contrast to the perennial border when grown in clumps or when massed over large areas. The fountain-like leaves provide elegant foliage, color and texture for the garden when the flowers are not in bloom. Daylilies can crowd out weeds and form a ground cover that is especially effective on slopes and hard-to-maintain areas.
